This is a great sight! I have this sight mounted on a Mossberg 590. It did protrude slightly into the barrel and did not line up straight on the barrel. I am fortunate to work in a metal shop and have access to a grinders, files, epoxies, micrometers etc...I was able to grind down the thread enough to seat on the original bead sight thread and not protrude through. used a micrometer to gauge my progress. loctite on the thread to line up the sight, and a piece of masking tape to set in place. 10 mins. to do all that work.

Glows brightly at night, and accomplishes exactly what it is made to do. The threads don''t align perfectly on my Mossberg 500, so when it is screwed all the way in, it is not straight. I guess red lock tite will have to do. Other than that, I am very satisfied.
